Forster Roofing's Lubbock Boys & Girls Club Dinner

Tuesday night whose who of Lubbock came out to support a great cause - the Boys and Girls Club.  In an event put together by Forster Roofing money was raised to support the after school programs so important to the local community.  A silent auction brought in great prizes including Texas Tech football tickets, a Tim Allen autographed hammer, and Tommy Tuberville autographed football.  Then guests enjoyed "A Night At The Races" in which prerecorded horse races brought excitement and raised more money for charity.  To top the evening off right Kyle Forster presented Floydada ISD with 10 computers from a random drawing to benefits the kids even more.  Duro-Last Roofing proudly sponsored a table.  Don't miss this event next year!

Harrison Roofing Business Mixer

On an overcast rainy Earth Day last week,  Harrison Roofing hosted its first ever business mixer dinner for valued customers and future clients.  The evening was hosted at La Vernia's own Burn's Nursery set against a backdrop of beautiful fountains and flowers.  The smell of thick ribeye steaks cooked on a open grill filled the air as guests enjoyed a mixture of country and rock music in the background.  Our contribution was delicious homemade beer pouring from two taps which livened the evening and provided a nice adventure in unique tastes.

Overall the event was a huge success and Harrison Roofing looks forward to hosting another event in the near future.

LRGV-AIA Golf Tourny

Friday we participated in the Lower Rio Grande Valley American Institute of Architects golf tournament benefiting their scholarship fund.  We sponsored the beer cart and also a team.  It was a beautiful day in Mission, Texas, slightly overcast and in the high 70s.  Our team finished in the middle of the pack and one member obtained the closest to the pin ranking on one of the holes.  It was a lot of fun for a good cause and we encourage everyone to make an effort to attend next year!
